Our pastor Michael Beach prayed for Fisher and his parents at church on Sunday. It was a special time to publicly commit him to the Lord, although we had done so in our hearts long ago. Our friends the Ansiels were visiting from L.A. with their chidren Garrett and Danielle. Family who attened the service included his Great Grandparents Sam & Rosie, Great Granny Melba, Grandparents John & Julie, Aunt Janeen, Uncle J.D., the Danesis and Uncle Sam. He was very good during the service and only whimpered at the end, about the time he thought Pastor Michael should be wrapping it up.

We celebrated afterwards with a lunch at our home of "Fishes and Loaves" (Fishsticks of course, since that's Mike's nickname for Fisher). Fisher's Granny Julie and Great Granny Melba sang "I will make you fishers of men" to him with hand motions of casting and reeling in. The centerpiece was a fish with the verse "Come follow Me, Jesus said, and I will make you fishers of men." His Great Grandparents Sam & Rosie enjoyed spending time with him too.
Our friends from church the Beaches, Johnsons and Kornachuks. Uncle J.D. and Alison in the center.
